Special Lecture on “Unlocking the Treasures of Happiness” @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav

The ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa organized a Special Lecture on “Unlocking the Treasures of Happiness” today.

The Speaker, Dr. Avtar Singh, Former Principal Scientist, ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana delivered the Special Lecture. He provided a holistic picture of the different aspects of mental and spiritual life that are required for a stress-free and happy life. Dr. Singh highlighted the importance of happiness in the professional, social and personal life.

Earlier, delivering the welcome address, Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director, ICAR-CCARI, Goa underlined the importance of the mental health and spirituality in the modern world. He also emphasized that a peaceful and happy mind will always enhance the productivity of an individual and the Institute.

The Lecture organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence registered participation by a total of 197 participants.
