The Virtual Training Programmes on “Accrual Accounting” organized by the ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, Odisha in Two Batches from 12th to 14th January, 2021 and 19th to 21st January, 2021, respectively concluded today.

Dr. A.K. Vyas, ADG (Human Resource Management), ICAR stressed on the need for developing the human resources. He also underlined the various factors of competency which are essentially required for bringing efficacy into the system.

Shri G.P. Sharma, Director (Finance), ICAR briefed about the importance of Accrual Accounting for bringing uniformity and fulfilling the various needs of the stakeholders. He also accentuated the designing of the course and effective implementation of the programme.
Dr. D. Maiti, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, Odisha emphasized on the necessity of updated knowledge and development of professionalism in the ICAR system in general and administrative personnel, in particular.
Dr. S.K. Das, Senior Finance & Accounts Officer, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, Odisha & Course Director presented the training report.
Around 96 Assistant Finance & Accounts Officers, Finance & Accounts Officers, Senior Finance & Accounts Officers and other Officials from 69 ICAR Institutes and ICAR Headquarters virtually participated in the programme.
