Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management), ICAR visits ICAR-IISWC, Research Centre, Datia

Dr. Suresh Kumar Chaudhari, Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management), ICAR visited the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, Research Centre, Datia, Madhya Pradesh today.

 During the visit, Dr. Chaudhari inspected and monitored the Centre’s Research Laboratories, Campus and Research Farm. He also examined the soil profile at the Research Farm dug out by the National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning, Research Station, New Delhi. While interacting with the Staff Members of the Centre, the DDG emphasized on the need for replicating the applied research results in the farmer’s field. Earlier, in his welcome address, Dr. R.S. Yadav, Head, ICAR-IISWC, Research Centre apprised the DDG about the research achievements, ongoing research programmes and development of the research farm of the Centre.
