20th August 2022, Dehradun

Passing out function of 123rd batch of 4 - month training on “Certificate Course on Soil & Water Conservation & Watershed Management” was organized at ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, Dehradun today. The four month programme was organized from 22nd April, 2022 to 21st August, 2022 at the Institute Hqrs., Dehradun.         

22nd August 2022, Kolkata

An eight-day training programme on “Production and value addition in jute fibre through manufacture of diversified products” sponsored by Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Katihar, Bihar was inaugurated at ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata.                     

18-19th August 2022, Hyderabad

ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad conducted two-day National Workshop on “Pathways for Effective Implementation of SC Sub-Plan Scheme in ICAR” during 18-19th August 2022 in Hybrid mode. The objectives of the workshop were to deliberate on issues and challenges faced in effective implementation of SCSP across ICAR institutions and to identify consensus-based operational reforms and good practices to be for effective implementation of SCSP scheme.

13^th August 2022, Hyderabad

A two-day Capacity Building Program (13-14, August 2022) on "Technology demonstrations for enhancing resilience" was inaugurated here today. The programme was organized by Technology Demonstration Component of NICRA at ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad.

2nd – 6th August, 2022

ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad organized a 5-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme on “Wholesome Meat Production and Value-Added Meat Products Processing” from August 2-6, 2022 to foster future entrepreneurs and develop the capacities of startup entrepreneurs to grow their business to greater levels of success.

The possibilities for wider utilization of "Golden Bean" soybean has not only attracted the farmers of the country but has also provided business opportunities for the food industry.

The ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi in association with the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur organized virtual workshop on “Fodder Resources Development Plan for Chhattisgarh” as a part of “National Initiative on Accelerating Fodder Technology Adoption NIAFTA” of the Institute today.

3^rd August 2022, Tentalpur, Cuttack

A Workshop-cum-Capacity Building Programme on Mechanization for Farm Women through WFPOs was organized under the Schedule Caste Sub Plan Programme (SCSP) by ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in MGMG adopted village of Tentalpur under Nischintakoili block of Cuttack district of Odisha today. The programme was organized as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahostav to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence.

3rd August 2022, Gangupally, Vikarabad, Telangana

A training-cum-field day on soil and water conservation techniques in rainfed areas was organized for the beneficiary farmers under Farmer FIRST Project today. The programme was held at Gangupally village, Vikarabad District of Telangana state.

ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad organized DST-SERB sponsored High-end workshop (Karyashala) on “Targeted and High Throughput Sequence Data Analysis Approaches for Candidate Gene Mining” during July 21-30, 2022.
