14 - 16 March, 2022, Kolkata

The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Kolkata Centre organized the three-day Skill Development Training Programme on “Modern Methods for Sustainable Aquaculture” under the North-Eastern Hill Region Plan at District Fishery Office, Thoubal District, Manipur from 14^th - 16^th March, 2022. The programme was organized in collaboration with the District Fishery Office, Thoubal for 50 Fish Farmers.

The ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir organized an array of programmes during March, 2022 in the various States of the North-Eastern Regions of India, viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Assam under the NEH Scheme for the farmers’ benefits in the region.

The ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh organized the five-day Training Programme on “Improved Fodder Production, Conservation & Utilization Technologies” from 21^st to 25^th March, 2022.

25^th March, 2022, Cuttack District

The ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha organized the one-day Training Programme-cum-Workshop on “Formation of Women FPOs for Entrepreneurship Development and Self-reliance (Aatma Nirbharta)” under the ICAR-National Agricultural Science Fund Project in the Sankilo Village of Nischintakoili Block, Cuttack District, Odisha today.

25 - 26 March, 2022, Jodhpur

The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone - II, Jodhpur, Rajasthan organized the two-day Virtual Training Programme-cum-Review Meeting on “Cluster Front Line Demonstration on Oilseeds” under the National Food Security Mission from 25^th to 26^th March, 2022.

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research, Hyderabad organized the Training Programme on “Farm Mechanization and Management” from 23^rd to 25^th March, 2022.

22 - 24 March, 2022, Gujarat

The Navsari Gujarat Research Centre of ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai organized the three-day Training Programme on “Brackishwater Cage Farming” at Navsari, Gujarat from 22^nd to 24^th March, 2022. The programme was organized in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, Government of Gujarat.

The three-day Training Programme on “Pulse Production: Challenges and Way Forward under Organic Conditions” organized by the ICAR-Research Centre for North-Eastern Hills Region, Sikkim Centre, Tadong, Sikkim from 21^st to 23^rd March, 2022 concluded today.

20^th March, 2022, Hyderabad

The five-day Training Programme on “Enhancing Livelihood of Women Farmers with Skill-based Training on Jute Bag Making” in collaboration with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ghantasala, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh from 16^th to 20^th, March, 2022 concluded today.

The programme was organized for the farmers of 4 Villages, viz., Kuchhikayalapudi, Ramanapudi, Ghantasala and Thadepalli from Krishna District.

22^nd March, 2022, Nagaland

The ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema, Nagaland in collaboration with the ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad organized the Training Programme on “Augmenting Farmers’ Income in the NEH Region through Promotion of Entrepreneurship in Mithun Meat Processing and Value-Addition” for the farmers and butchers today.
