Inter-State Training Programme on “Organic Farming of Important Vegetable Crops” concludes

The five-day Training Programme on “Organic Farming of Important Vegetable Crops for Progressive Farmers of Supaul, Bihar” organized by the ICAR-Research Complex for North-Eastern Hill Region, Sikkim Centre, Tadong, Gangtok, Sikkim from 21st to 25th April, 2022 concluded today.

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lakshadweep of the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute at Kavaratti here today.

The Director General was accompanied by Dr. Joykrushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fisheries Science), ICAR; Dr. A. Gopalakrishnan, Director, ICAR-CMFRI and Dr. V. Venkatasubramanian, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

“Training-cum-Farm Input Distribution Programmes under SCSP Scheme” organized

To improve the livelihood of the Scheduled Caste population in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand, the ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir organized a Series of Training-cum-Farm Input Distribution Programmes in March, 2022. The programmes were organized in the SC-dominated areas of Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan Scheme.

“Skill Development Training and Critical Input Distribution Programme” organized

The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Kolkata Centre organized the Skill Development Training Programme on “Aquaculture Technologies as Livelihood Options” at the Faculty Centre for Integrated Rural Development and Management, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Narendrapur, West Bengal from 26th to 27th March, 2022.

Skill Development Training Programme on “Modern Methods for Sustainable Aquaculture” at Thoubal, Manipur organized

14 - 16 March, 2022, Kolkata

The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Kolkata Centre organized the three-day Skill Development Training Programme on “Modern Methods for Sustainable Aquaculture” under the North-Eastern Hill Region Plan at District Fishery Office, Thoubal District, Manipur from 14th - 16th March, 2022. The programme was organized in collaboration with the District Fishery Office, Thoubal for 50 Fish Farmers.

Training-cum-Distribution Programmes under “NEH Scheme in North-Eastern Region of India” organized

The ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir organized an array of programmes during March, 2022 in the various States of the North-Eastern Regions of India, viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Assam under the NEH Scheme for the farmers’ benefits in the region.
