Freedom Run on Gandhi Jayanthi Organized by ICAR-NAARM

2 October 2022, Hyderabad

As per the directives of Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions to organise the Special Campaign 2.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters from 02.10.2022 to 31.10.2022, the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management organised a special campaign On October 02, 2022 in which 120 staff of the Academy including Faculty Members, Technical Staff, Administrative Staff, Farm Staff and other Contractual workers took part.

At the outset, the Director, ICAR-NAARM, Dr Ch Srinivasa Rao briefed the gathering about the importance of the Cleanliness at workplace, villages, towns and other areas. Dr Ch. Srinivas Rao, Director, by paying floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 153rd birth anniversary inaugurated this event. As part of the celebration, 1 km walk was started within the campus by the Director and all the employees including Dr G. Venkateshwarlu, Joint Director, Shri Vivek Purwar, CAO (SG), Scientists, CF&AO, SAO, Admin & Finance staff participated in the event.  The Director administered the SWACHHATA PLEDGE to the gathering on this occasion. After 1 km walk, the staff members were distributed in three groups and volunteered in the campus cleaning activities at various areas of the Academy.
