ICAR-National Research Centre on Pig, Rani, Guwahati, organized a graduation ceremony for five entrepreneurs who successfully completed their incubation under the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centre. The event marked an important milestone in the institute’s efforts to promote innovation and self-reliance in the livestock sector through entrepreneurship development.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vivek Kumar Gupta, Director highlighted that the ABI Centre, established under the NAIF scheme with support from the IPTM Division of ICAR, has so far supported 28 entrepreneurs from across the country.

The programme offered mentorship, technical guidance, and business support to assist incubatees in establishing successful enterprises in piggery and pork processing.
The graduating entrepreneurs included Arohan Foods Pvt. Ltd., Guwahati; Sayuri Farms, Guwahati; Pork Paradise, Bengaluru; Khaisua Foods, Guwahati; and Soukya Foods, Bengaluru. They were felicitated with certificates and expressed their gratitude to the institute for its pivotal role in helping them build their brands. Dr. Gupta congratulated the entrepreneurs and encouraged them to continue driving innovation and resilience in the livestock sector.
