ICAR–Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Research Centre, Datia, organized various activities at Village Murera, District Datia, under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign–2026 to promote awareness regarding cleanliness, waste management and environmental protection.
As part of the programme, Waste to Art initiatives were undertaken to encourage the creative utilization of waste materials and promote proper waste management practices. A human chain activity was organized to demonstrate collective commitment towards cleanliness and sanitation. Additionally, activities under Mission LiFE highlighted the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (3R) practices.
The activities aimed to encourage villagers to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings, ensure proper waste disposal and adopt environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle practices. The programme also aimed to promote community participation in creating a clean and healthy rural environment.
