18th July, 2022, Hyderabad

A State Level Virtual Interface Meeting on “Enhancing the Preparedness for Agriculture Contingencies during Kharif - 2022 for Rajasthan” was jointly organized by the ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad and the Department of Agriculture, Government of Rajasthan here today.

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad has organized the two-week High End Workshop on “Statistical and Machine Learning Techniques for Agricultural Systems Modeling and Forecasting using R” from 18^th to 30^th July, 2022. The Workshop has been organized in association with the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India under the KARYASHALA Scheme - a SERB Initiative.

18 - 19 July, 2022, Kullu

The “Launch and Review Workshop of NICRA for ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone - I, Ludhiana, Punjab” was organized at Kullu from 18^th to 19^th July, 2022.

15^th July, 2022, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

The All India Coordinated Research Project on PEASEM Centre at ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha organized the National Workshop-cum-Hands on Training Programme on “Design and Development Process of Agricultural Gadgets in FRP” from 15^th to 16^th July, 2022.

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research, Indore, Madhya Pradesh organized the “Virtual Scientists’-Farmers’-Interactive Session” for the Soya Farmers today. The Session was jointly organized in association with the Atma Project, Department of Agriculture, District Indore, Solidaridad Bhopal and ITC Limited, Madhya Pradesh.

12 - 14 July, 2022, Hyderabad

The Virtual Training Programme on “Traceability-based Value Chain Management in Meat Sector for Achieving Food Safety and Augmenting Exports” was organized by the ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad from 12^th to 14^th July 2022. The Programme was organized in collaboration with the MANAGE, Hyderabad.

16^th July, 2022, Cuttack District

The ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha organized the Workshop-cum-Training Programme on “Mechanization for Farm Women through WFPOs” in MGMG adopted Village of Sankilo in Nischintakoili Block, Cuttack District, today. The programme was organized under the Institute’s Schedule Caste Sub Plan Programme today.

9th July 2022, Hyderabad

The Executive Development Programme on “Leadership Development” organized for 18 Research Managers encompassing Deputy Directors General / Assistant Directors General of ICAR Head Quarters and Directors / Joint Directors of ICAR Institutes across the country spanning from Arunachal Pradesh to Andaman & Nicobar Islands from 4th to 9th July, 2022 concluded today.

The Annual Zonal Workshop on “KVKs of Zone - VIII comprising of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa” was jointly organized by the ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Pune, Maharashtra and Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat at AAU, Anand from 7^th to 9^th July, 2022.
