The Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi in association with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Nairobi, Kenya jointly organized a Training Programme on “Livestock Methane Emission: Assessment, Impact and Amelioration Strategies” at the ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru, Karnataka from 26^th to 28^th October, 2021.

The ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh organized the First Sensitization Workshop for “Gender Advancement for Transforming Institution (GATI)” Pilot Project, a Project of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India today.

The three ICAR Institutes - ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar; ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana and ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi are implementing the GATI Project.

A National workshop on “Meat Traceability Recall: From Concept to Practice” was organized by ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad in collaboration with Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Govt. of India today as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Chief Guest, Dr. M. Angamuthu, Chariman, APEDA in his address advocated traceability in livestock sector for the promotion of exports.
