A National workshop on “Meat Traceability Recall: From Concept to Practice” was organized by ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad in collaboration with Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Govt. of India today as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Chief Guest, Dr. M. Angamuthu, Chariman, APEDA in his address advocated traceability in livestock sector for the promotion of exports.

The ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, Kolkata in association with the Raybaar Samiti organized an Awareness Workshop on “Potential of Natural fibre in Uttarakhand with special reference to Nettle Fibres” at Laldhang, Haridwar, Uttarakhand today.

The ICAR-Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana organized the 7-day Awareness-cum-Training Programme on “Role of SHGs in Livelihood Promotion and Women Empowerment” among the marginalized communities covering Budhanpur Village, Karnal and Neoltha Village, Panipat from 12^th to 18^th October, 2021.

The Field Training on “Soil & Water Conservation and Watershed Management” organized by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, Dehradun, Uttarakhand for the I.F.S. Probationers from 4^th to 11^th October, 2021 concluded today. The programme was organized in association with the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

The ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa organized the Technical Seminar on “Recent Advances in Mango Production, Processing and Marketing Opportunities” today.

The Seminar was jointly organized with the Goa State Council for Science & Technology (GSCS&T) and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) under the Gramya Vikas Nidhi.

The fourth batch of five-day Training Programme on “Accrual Accounting” organized by the ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, Odisha from 20^th to 24^th September, 2021 concluded today.
