An AB-ELISA kit was developed at the directorate for the detection of antibodies to B. abortus from the Bovine serum samples. The kit was extensively laboratory tested before being approved by international agency (IAEA). Each kit can test 400 samples in duplicate. The kit is being used for the sero-surveillance of Bovine brucellosis in the country
