As per the directions of the Council, the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva – 2025; campaign on the theme ‘Swachhotsav’ (स्वच्छोत्सव) was launched and observed at ICAR–Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research, Hyderabad.
As part of the day-long activities, cleanliness drives were conducted across the institute premises with special focus on ‘black spots’ neglected garbage accumulation points. These identified areas were systematically mapped, cleaned, and restored to ensure a healthier and cleaner campus environment.
The staff of ICAR–IIOR participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing dedication and teamwork in advancing the cause of sanitation and hygiene. Awareness posters on cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management were also displayed at key locations to sensitize employees and visitors.
The campaign not only addressed immediate cleaning requirements but also reaffirmed the institute’s long-term commitment to the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, truly making Swachhotsav a celebration of collective responsibility towards a cleaner future.
