ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad, successfully organized a three-day Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme on Traditional Dairy Products from 23 to 25 March 2026 at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Dabok, under Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur. The programme was conducted under the SC Sub-Plan in collaboration with the host institution.

Dr Gopal Lal, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad, graced the valedictory session as Chief Guest. In his address, he underscored the pivotal role of women livestock farmers in strengthening the Indian economy. He highlighted the significant contribution of the dairy sector to the national GDP and elaborated on various initiatives undertaken by ICAR-NAARM to promote research, capacity building, and farmer-centric training programmes across the country. He also encouraged participants to leverage such initiatives for their socio-economic advancement.
Prof. Gajendra Kumar Mathur, Dean, School of Agricultural Sciences, Dabok, delivered the presidential address, urging participants to translate the knowledge gained into practical applications and pursue self-reliance through dairy-based entrepreneurship. He commended the organizing team for conducting a meaningful and impactful programme.

During the valedictory session, essential inputs including deep pans, cooking pots, ladles, measuring cups, thermometers, and dairy kits were distributed among the participants, along with certificates, to support them in establishing sustainable livelihoods.
The programme witnessed active participation from 40 Scheduled Caste women livestock farmers from Udaipur district, who benefitted from the training.
