ICAR Signs MoU with APNI Morocco to Strengthen Collaboration on Soil Health and Nutrient Management

5 August 2025, New Delhi

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI), Morocco, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in New Delhi to foster collaboration in the areas of soil health, precision plant nutrient management, and resilient farming systems.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. M. L. Jat, Secretary (DARE) & Director General, ICAR, and Dr. Kaushik Majumdar, Director General, APNI, in the presence of senior ICAR officials.

Dr. Jat highlighted that the partnership will pave the way for joint initiatives, research collaborations, and knowledge exchange aimed at promoting sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture through science-led solutions in nutrient and soil management.
