Dr S Ayyappan is new Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR)

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has a new chief, Dr S. Ayyappan as its new Secretary, Department of Agriculture Research and Education (DARE) and Director General (DG), ICAR.

Dr S Ayyappan took over the charge of Secretary, DARE and DG, ICAR from Dr Mangala Rai, who retired from service on 31 December, 2009.
