The Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) Programme 2025, organised by ICAR–Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora, concluded with a valedictory ceremony today. The programme began in August 2025 and culminated today, providing extensive hands-on exposure to real-world agricultural practices.
The event opened with a welcome address and an overview of the programme by the RAWE Nodal Officer, who highlighted its objectives, major activities and key outcomes. Students shared their experiences, expressing appreciation for the practical learning, field exposure and guidance received from faculty and resource persons.
In his valedictory remarks, the Director, ICAR–VPKAS, commended the students for their dedication and professionalism throughout the programme. He emphasized the significance of RAWE in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical agriculture, and presented certificates to the participants. He also encouraged them to pursue excellence as future agricultural professionals and innovators.
The ceremony provided a meaningful platform for students to reflect on their learning journey, interact with experts and exchange ideas on innovative agricultural solutions. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of students, faculty and organizers in making RAWE 2025 a success.
A total of 17 B.Sc. (Agriculture) students participated in the 90-day programme 16 from DSB Campus, Kumaun University, Nainital, and one from Noida International University, Greater Noida.
