Field Epidemiology Training Programme for Veterinarian for SAARC nations

A nine-day training programme (15-23rd May 2017) on “Field Epidemiology Training Programme for veterinarian” for the participants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal and Srilanka was inagurated at ICAR - National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Disease Informatics, Bengaluru  today. The training programme was conducted under the aegis of SAARC Agriculture Center (SAC), Dhaka and FAO Regional Support Unit for SAARC, Kathmandu.

Field Day for tribal farmers of Chamarajanagara, Karnataka

A capacity building-cum-field day was organized under Tribal Sub Plan of AICRP-STCR in collaboration with AICRP-LTFE centre of UAS , Bengaluru for tribal farmers of Hospod, Srinivaspura and surrounding hamlets of Chamarajanagara district, Karnataka.  

The objective of the progrrame was to popularize the importance of soil test based balanced fertilizer application with Soil Test Crop Response approach among the tribal farmers,

International Symposium on Aquatic Animal Health and Epidemiology for Sustainable Asian Aquaculture

Shri Ashutosh Tandon, Minister of Technology and Medical Education, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurated a two-day International Symposium on Aquatic Animal Health and Epidemiology for Sustainable Asian Aquaculture here today. The symposium is organized by Aquatic Biodiversity Conservation Society, Lucknow, India in collaboration with ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow and National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal.
