The National Consultation Meet on “Fostering faster reach of Aquaculture research innovations through media in a science communication perspective” was held at ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubneshwaron 27 October, 2017.

A two-day workshop-cum-training programme on Pulses Production Technology for Nodal Officers of KVKs of Rajasthan and Haryana states under National Food Security Mission (NFSM) has been inaugurated on 30th October 2017 at ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur.

ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal in coordination with HRM Unit, ICAR HQs, conducted five-day training programme on “Automobile Maintenance, Road Safety and Behavioural Skills” for regular Drivers in Technical Grades from ICAR-Institutes/HQs in four batches during February 20-24, March 06-10, July 18-22 and September 19-23, 2017.

Two-day workshop on “Olive Research and Development in India” jointly organized by Oilseeds Division, Department of Agriculture and Corporation  & Farmers Welfare and ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture Srinagar (October 24-25, 2017) was inaugurated on 24th October, 2017 at ICAR-CITH, Srinagar.

ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore organized three-day training programme on “Management of Wetland (maun) Fisheries” at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Piprakothi, Motihari for maun fishers of East Champaran district from 6-8 August 2017 under NFDB sponsored project “Fisheries development in four wetlands of East Champaran district of Bihar.       

ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun started 113rd batch of 4 - months (08 October to 7 Feb., 2016).

ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar in collaboration with ICAR-CPRI, Shimla, ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi, ICAR-IIHR, Banglore, ICAR-CAZRI RS Leh and HMAARI, SKUAST-K, Leh organied two days workshop on “Development of horticulture under cold arid region of Ladakh for enhancing quality production and improving livelihood” at SKUAST-K Campus Leh from 23rd to 24th August, 2017. The workshop was attended by around 135 participants including farmers from different areas of Ladakh, officers from line departments and scientists from ICAR and SKUAST Kashmir.

A one day workshop on modern tools and techniques used for cell analysis such as health, proliferation and differentiation ability, apoptosis and rapid quantification of cell was organized on 24th August, 2017 at ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow.

The Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Kuldeep K. Lal, Director ICAR-NBFGR.
