National Information System for Women in Agriculture (NISWA) Portal

1. ICAR-CIWA developed NISWA Portal – a comprehensive knowledge portal consolidating information on GDD (primary & secondary), gender factsheets of institutions, and WoPAS database.
2. Collection, compilation and featuring of databases, journals, books, institutions, publications, indicators, terminologies etc. related to gender/ women in agrifood systems.
3. Showcases GR/ WF technologies, methodologies & models, government schemes/ programmes & success stories of women innovators.
4. Aims to strengthen evidence-based decision-making through better assessment of women's contributions, roles, and constraints across agricultural value chains.
