ICAR–Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone-III, Kanpur celebrated the 98th Foundation Day of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) with enthusiasm and pride. The celebrations commenced with the scientists and staff of ICAR-ATARI, Kanpur virtually participating in the Foundation Day programme organised at ICAR Headquarters, New Delhi.
Mrs Beena Singh, stated poetess and retired lecturer from Army Public School, Kanpur, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Scientists, officers, staff members and project personnel participated in the programme.

Welcoming the Chief Guest and participants, Dr Raghwendra Singh, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Kanpur, highlighted ICAR's pivotal role in advancing Indian agriculture through cutting-edge research, innovation and the effective dissemination of technologies to the farming community.
In her address, Mrs Beena Singh inspired the gathering with her thought-provoking reflections and recited poems dedicated to women, farmers, soldiers, martyrs and the nation. Her presentation received wide appreciation from the audience. The celebration also featured cultural performances by the scientists and staff of the institute, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
