Dr. K. Alagusundaram, DDG (NRM) visits ICAR-IIFSR, Modipuram

Dr. K. Alagusundaram, Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management), ICAR visited the ICAR-Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research, Modipuram, Meerut today.

In his interaction session with the Institute’s staff members, Dr. Alagusundaram urged the ICAR-IIFSR team for working hard to achieve growth for themselves and the Council and farming community on a larger extent.

The DDG also visited the ICAR-Central Potato Institute Campus, Modipuram followed by the ICAR-IIFSR campus. He urged to include the livestock components in both the horticulture-based IFS.

Dr. K.K. Singh, ADG (Farm Engineering) lauded the Institute’s research works.

Earlier, Dr. A.S. Panwar, Director, ICAR-IIFSR outlined the various research, extension and HRD activities being undertaken at the Institute level and at the AICRP-IFS and NPOF.

During the field visits, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Joint Director, ICAR-CPRIC Campus, Meerut and Dr. N.V. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRC, Meerut were also present.
