ICAR-SBI, Coimbatore organizes “Science Quiz Competition” @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav

To mark the celebrations of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence, the ICAR-Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu organized a “Science Quiz Competition for College Students” here today. The Competition was jointly organized with the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Coimbatore Chapter).

Inaugurating the Competition, Dr. G. Hemaprabha, Director, ICAR-SBI, Coimbatore emphasized that the Competitions encourages the team work and promotes critical thinking among the students.

About 50 students, from the various Colleges including Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli; VIT School of Biosciences and Technology, Vellore; Mar Athanasios College of Advanced Studies, Thiruvalla, Kerala; Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Studies for Women, Coimbatore; Karunya Institute of Technology and Science, Coimbatore and Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad participated in the Competition.
