Infrastructure facility at ICAR-NIANP - Bengaluru inaugurated

Dr. Joykrushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fy & AS) inaugurated the newly constructed feed Unit, poultry and sheep shed at ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru today. In his address, he briefed about the methane amelioration work being carried out using SF₆ technique in cattle and the grain-sprout production inside poly-house. He also visited the Climate Chamber facility and the state of the art Small Animal House under construction.

Dr. Raghavendra Bhatta, Director, NIANP explained about the new facilities and the proposed research activities to be taken up in the future.

The function was attended by Directors and Heads of other Bangalore based ICAR institutes and Senior CPWD officials.
