The ICAR-National Research Centre on Equines, Hisar celebrated “35th Foundation Day” today.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Anayath, Vice-Chancellor, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology (DCRUST), Murthal, Sonepat highlighted the media’s role of the technological era while delivering the talk on an important issue of “Significance of values in day-to-day life”.
Dr. Mehar Chand Gehlot, Vice-Chairman, Livestock Development Board, Government of Haryana, Panchkula and Dr. S.S. Dahiya, Director, ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes, Hisar also marked their presence as the Guests of Honor during the occasion.
Dr. B.N. Tripathi, Director, ICAR-NRCE highlighted the Institutes’ role since its inception towards serving the Equines’ healthcare and management to the various stakeholders.
The various issues of Equines’ rearing and healthcare were addressed in the “Kisan Goshthi” held during the occasion.
The occasion also held drawing completions among students from various schools on the topics - Horse as Companion Animal and Fundamental Rights on the eve of Foundation Day.
