The ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh organized the Webinar on “Development of Climate Resilient Livestock Germplasm” - V16H4S1 under the aegis of the Vaishwik Bhartiya Vaigyanik (VAIBHAV) Summit – 2020 today.
Dr. B.P. Mishra, Director, ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh along with the senior officials of ICAR Institutes and other Departments of Government of India and foreign Universities and Departments also virtually participated in the Webinar.
The possible areas of cooperation and avenues for collaborative research to study the climate resilience in native Indian cattle and use of modern scientific methods for improving their productivity and methods available for multiplying the genetically superior animals within a short period of time were discussed during the Webinar.
