The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Kolkata organized a Webinar on “New Farm Act - 2020 for benefit of Farmers” today.
Dr. S.K. Roy, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata briefed about the 3 New Farm Acts and their new regulations which will create an ecosystem to provide the farmers and traders with the freedom of choice for sale and purchase of agri-produces and promote barrier-free inter and intra-state trade and commerce outside the physical premises of markets.
All the Krishi Vigyan Kendras of West Bengal, their SMSs and farmers attended the Webinar.
