Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Union Agriculture Minister released the logo of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi today. On this occasion, he said that the University will make a special contribution in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh towards development of agriculture benefiting the farmers of this area. Agriculture and Horticulture College and Agro Forestry College in Jhansi; and Veterinary College and Animal Science and Fisheries College in Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh will be set up under this University. He emphasized rapid development and focused approach in this regard. He also informed that 125 acre land has been identified for this University in Datiya region. The logo was released in presence of Dr. Arvind Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University; Dr. S. Ayyappan, Secretary, DARE and DG, ICAR; and Dr. R.B. Singh, Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal.
