ICAR congratulates Dr. Madappa Mahadevappa, former Chairman of Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board and Vice-Chancellor at University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad on being conferred with the coveted civilian honor ‘ Padma Bhushan’ in recognition of his outstanding contribution in Science and Engineering. He is a rice breeder of repute and has several improved varieties and hybrids to his credit.
