The ICAR–Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (ICAR-CRIDA) inaugurated the Swachhta Hi Seva campaign today as part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The campaign will be observed from September 17 to October 2, 2025, across ICAR-CRIDA’s main office, Hayatnagar Research Farm, Gungal Research Farm, CRIDA Model Village, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, and adopted villages in Ranga Reddy district.
The programme commenced with the display of awareness banners at the main office, HRF, and GRF, marking the formal launch of the fortnight-long initiative.As per the action plan, a series of activities including cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, quiz competitions, and outreach events will be organized at ICAR-CRIDA’s campuses and adopted villages. The initiative aims to sensitize farming communities and stakeholders on the importance of hygiene, sanitation, and environmental responsibility.
Through Swachhta Hi Seva, ICAR-CRIDA continues its commitment to supporting the Government of India’s mission to promote cleanliness and sustainable practices across rural and agricultural landscapes.
