The ICAR-Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna, Bihar organized a “Technology Demonstration Mela” at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Buxar, Bihar today. The Mela was organized under All India Coordinated Research Project on Farm Mechanization and Precision Farming Project.

The ICAR-Agricultural Technology application Research Institute, Pune has organized the three-day “Agro-Tech-Fair (Krushived - 2020)” at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nanded - II. The fair will be organized till 12^th February, 2020.

Shri Batakrushna Sahoo, a Progressive Fish Farmer from Odisha was conferred with Padma Shri Award - 2020.

Shri Sahoo hails from Sarakana Village, Balianta Block of Khordha District, Odisha. He ventured into the aquaculture during the late eighties as a grow-out culture farmer. With the help of technical guidance from ICAR-CIFA and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Khordha, he expanded his enterprise into the fish breeding and seed production effectively.
