The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Ludhiana organized a “Review Workshop of CFLD Pulses and Oilseeds projects” for the Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of Punjab at Ludhiana today.

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) jointly organized a district level exhibition and Farmers’ Fair at the ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute today.

25^th January, 2019, Pune

The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Institution and ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Pune organized a training program for “Developing Entrepreneurship in Floriculture” at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramati from 23^rd to 25^th January - 2019.

The innovative training methods and simulation games were used during the training programme. The entrepreneurial motivation of trainees was enhanced through experiential learning based group work.

21^st January, 2019, Tonk, Rajasthan

State Level Work plan (2019-20) Workshop for KVKs of Rajasthan has been inaugurated today at Banasthali Vidyapith, Tonk, Rajasthan.

Prof. Siddharth Shastri, Vice President, Banasthali Vidyapith, Banasthali, Tonk, the Chief Guest of the occasion mentioned that the education being an important element of society, particularly for women and specifically for farm women, skill development for farmers are required to be addressed by KVKs in a planned manner.

कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र, जम्मू ने आज एक दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण-सह-जागरूकता कार्यक्रम ‘पौधों की किस्मों का संरक्षण और किसान अधिकार अधिनियम (पीपीवी और एफआरए), 2001’ का आयोजन किया।

कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन डॉ. ए. के. सिंह, उप महानिदेशक (कृषि विस्तार), भाकृअनुप, नई दिल्ली ने प्रोफेसर पी. के. शर्मा, कुलपति, एसकेयूएएसटी-जम्मू और  डॉ. राजबीर सिंह, निदेशक, भाकृअनुप-अटारी, लुधियाना की उपस्थिति में किया।

भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद के सहयोग से भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ग्रामीण कृषि मौसम सेवा के तहत कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के माध्यम से ब्लॉक स्तरीय कृषि मौसम सलाहकार सेवा के कार्यान्वयन में लगा है। इसके लिए देश भर में 530 कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र में जिला कृषि मौसम इकाई स्थापित किए जाने हैं।
