Annual Zonal Review Workshop for KVKs of Rajasthan, Haryana & Delhi

Annual Zonal Review Workshop for KVKs of Rajasthan, Haryana & Delhi has organised by ATARI, Jodhpur at Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), Bikaner on 10-12 June, 2018. The objective of this workshop was to critically review the performance and progress of previous year activities and finalization of action plan 2018-19.

Annual Zonal Workshop of KVKs of Northeast

ICAR-ATARI, Umiam along with ICAR-ATARI Guwahati organized three days Annual Zonal Workshop of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) under Zone-VI and VII during 8th-10th June, 2018 at the College of Fisheries, Central Agricultural University, Lembucherra, Agartala. The purpose of the workshop was to critically review the performance and progress of activities of the KVKs in North-Eastern Region during the year 2017-18.

Annual Zonal Workshop of KVKs of Zone IV and V organized

Annual Zonal Workshop of KVKs of Zone IV and V was jointly organized by ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute,  Kolkata, ICAR-ATARI Patna and OUAT, Bhubaneswar during 26-27 May, 2018 at Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar. In this program, 122 KVKs of Andaman & Nicobar Islands (3), Bihar (39), Jharkhand (24), Odisha (33) and West Bengal (23) participated and presented their progress report (2017-18) and action plan (2018-19).

Annual Zonal Workshop of KVKs of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa Organized by ATARI, Pune

Annual Zonal Workshop of KVKs was organized by ICAR-ATARI, Pune during 5-7 May, 2018 at MPKV, Rahuri. In this program, 79 KVKs of Maharashtra (47), Gujarat (30) and Goa (2) participated and presented their progress (2017-18) and action plan (2018-19). For technological backstopping, 8 ICAR institutes (NIASM, Baramati; NRCP, Solapur; NRCG, Pune; DFR, Pune; CICR, Nagpur; CCRI, Nagpur; DOGR, Pune and CRIDA, Hyderabad) shared their usable technologies to make fast technology flow to the farmers.

Operationalising Farming System for Nutrition through KVKs

A workshop to discuss setting up of Farming System for Nutrition models in Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) to address the problem of malnutrition was organised by ICAR-ATARI Pune in collaboration with the M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) at KVK Narayangaon, Pune district on 24 April 2018. The models in the KVKs can be used for training farm men and women to adopt in their own fields.
