ICAR-NAARM Organises Training on Empowering Rural Women through Sustainable Dairy Production in Punjab

ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad, organized a four-day Skill Development Training Programme on ‘Empowering Rural Women through Sustainable Dairy Production’ under the SC Sub-Plan, in collaboration with the College of Veterinary Science, Rampura Phul, Bathinda district, Punjab. The training programme was conducted from 24 - 27 March 2026 at CVSc, Rampura Phul.

ICAR-NAARM Conducts Entrepreneurship Development Training on Traditional Dairy Products in Udaipur

ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad, successfully organized a three-day Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme on Traditional Dairy Products from 23 to 25 March 2026 at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Dabok, under Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur. The programme was conducted under the SC Sub-Plan in collaboration with the host institution.

Training-cum-Agricultural Input Distribution Programme for Scheduled Caste Farmers Organised at ICAR-DWR, Jabalpur

ICAR–Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur organized a Training-cum-Agricultural Input Distribution Programme for Scheduled Caste farmers under the Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan (SCSP) which aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting scientific farming practices, and improving the livelihood of scheduled caste farmers.

Training Programme on Medicinal Plant-Based Interventions for Soil Health Enhancement and Sustainable Livelihoods Organised at ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata

23-24 March 2026, Narendrapur

A two-day training programme on “Intervention, Cultivation & Formulation Development of Medicinal Plants” was successfully organized by Sasya Shyamala KVK (RKMVERI), Narendrapur, in collaboration with the Natural Product Studies Division of Jadavpur University. The programme was aligned with the nationwide Bhumi Suposhan and Samrakshan Jan Abhiyan, integrating themes of soil health and sustainable cultivation.

Empowering Fish Farmers through Capacity Building Training by ICAR-NBFGR

18th-20th March 2024, Lucknow

ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow organised a residential training on Sustainable Freshwater Fish Farming for Scheduled Caste farmers at the Aquaculture Research and Training Unit, Lucknow. The programme aimed at enhancing the livelihoods of marginalized farmers through advanced aquaculture techniques.

Training on Nutri-Fish to Nutritional Security

20th – 22nd March, 2024, Barrackpore

ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore organised a 3-day online collaborative training programme jointly with the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad from 20th-22nd March 2024. The training programme aimed to impart expertise and knowledge to the participants on the ‘Nutri-Smart’ fishes in Inland open waters for the nutritional security of the rural populace.

Skill Development Training Programme on ‘Freshwater Pearl Culture Technology

13th -15th March 2024, Assam

A 3-day skill development training programme on Freshwater Pearl Culture Technology was organized at, Nagaon, Assam today for fish farmers of Assam in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, Govt. of Assam. Representatives from various districts of Assam were present during the programme.
