ICAR-NMRI organises hands-on training on the determination of residues and contaminants in meat

29th January – 2nd February 2024, Hyderabad

The ICAR-National Meat Research Institute, Hyderabad, and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi jointly organised a 5-day Hands-On Training on the Determination of Residues and Contaminants in Meat as per FSSR, 2011 specialized regarding Detection of Antibiotics, Pesticides, and Heavy Metals at ICAR-NMRI, Hyderabad from 29th January – 2nd February 2024.

A 3-Day State-Level Training on Good Storage Practices Concludes

ICAR- Central Institute of Post–Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, organised a 3-day state-level training program from 29th-3st January 2024, on Good Storage Practices jointly with Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce (Trading & Development) Co-operative Federation Limited, Raipur. The training aimed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge related to the storage and handling of minor forest produce.

ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana, organises Training for Rural Women

29th – 31st January 2024, Ludhiana

ICAR–Central Institute of Post–Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, organized a 3-day training programme on “Processing and Value Addition of Cereals” from 29th-31st January 2024, under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan scheme. The programme aimed to strengthen Scheduled Caste poor families and nurture them to initiate activities in the field of cereals processing with special emphasis on value addition.

Training-cum-Input distribution programme under KSHAMTA

20th-22nd March 2024, Meghalaya

ICAR- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Garo Hills, organised a 3-day training-cum-input distribution programme under KSHAMTA on ‘Poultry Farming’ at the ICAR-KVK campus from 20th-22nd March 2024. ICAR implemented Knowledge Systems and Homestead Agriculture Management in Tribal Areas of 125 districts with 25% or more tribal population in 2019 to develop agricultural practices using traditional tribal knowledge.

Training-cum-input distribution programme on Modern Methods of Freshwater Aquaculture under NEH

18th – 20th March, 2024

The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Kolkata Centre organized the three days training-cum-input distribution programme on ‘Modern methods of freshwater aquaculture’ from 18th – 20th March 2024 under NEH plan for the fish farmers of East Sikkim at Fisheries Department, Govt. of Sikkim, Gangtok, Sikkim.

Training program on Smart Textiles and its Evaluation under the SCSP scheme

18th -20th March 2024, Mumbai

ICAR-Central Institute of Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai, organized a 3-day training on ‘Smart Textiles and its Evaluation’ from 18th - 20th March 2024 under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan scheme of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. This was a specialized training program conducted for scheduled caste community candidates in particular to upgrade their skill and expertise in Smart textiles.
