ICAR- National Meat Research Institute, Hyderabad, organized a training of livestock farmers on ‘Meat processing and Entrepreneurship development opportunities in NE India’ today in collaboration with ICAR-KVK, Karbi Anglong Diphu Nala, Assam. ICAR-MNRI, Hyderabad is actively working in NE India to develop livestock enterprises and meat processing entrepreneurship.

14th March 2024, Tripura

ICAR-Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research, Bhimtal, inaugurated a 3-day skill training programme today on ‘Best Management practices for sustainable aquaculture’ in collaboration with College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, CAU (Imphal), Tripura.  The skill training will be organised from 14th-16th March 2024

12th-13th March 2024, Madhya Pradesh

ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, organized a 2-day training programme from 12th-13th March 2024 for citrus growers of Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh. The training program was organised under the APEDA-sponsored project ‘Capacity Development Programme on Adoption of Good Agriculture Practices for Citrus Farmers’.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Namsai under ICAR-RC for NEH Region Arunachal Pradesh Centre, Basar organised an awareness-cum-training programme in Krishnapur village of Namsai district today under the National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture -Technology Demonstration Component programme.

4th-8th March 2024, Mumbai

ICAR- Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai organised a 5-day skill development programme on ‘Aquafeed Production Technology and Feeding Management for Freshwater Aquaculture’ from 4th-8th  March 2024 for the 25 selected progressive fish farmers from 8 regions of Jharkhand who had newly established feed mills and engaged in fish farming activities over the years.

ICAR-Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research, Anand organized a 1-day training programme entitled ‘Awareness on conservation of medicinal and aromatic plant for health and livelihood security and farmer’s rights’ under the TSP scheme at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand today.
