The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Kolkata Centre organized the three days training-cum- demonstration on “Fish Processing & Value-added Fish Products” from 14th to 16th December, 2022 under SCSP plan for the rural folks of West Bengal at the center.

A Hands-on training program on “Mass Production of Biocontrol Agents for Suppression of Invasive Whiteflies” was organized by ICAR-National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources, Bengaluru (23 – 25 January 2023) to disseminate the biocontrol technologies developed at the bureau to control the recent invasive whiteflies infesting coconut.

One-day “Farmers orientation cum Training program on High Oleate groundnut Girnar-4 and Girnar-5 seed production and Felicitation of Farmers” was held at ICAR-Directorate of Groundnut Research, Junagadh today.

The a-IDEA, a Technology Business Incubator of ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad organized a sensitization programme on “Entrepreneurship Development in Agriculture and Allied Sectors” for the students of Shri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner to impart knowledge on entrepreneurship.

ICAR- Indian Institute of Millets Research, Hyderabad & Khadi and Village Industries Commission Regional office, Telangana jointly organized a one-day workshop on Prime Ministers Employment Guarantee Programme & Business Opportunities in Millets for various stakeholders viz., Startups, budding entrepreneurs, FPOs, SHGs, farmers and unemployed youth of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra today.

The Laboratory Assessor’s Training Course for ICAR Scientists, organized in collaboration with NBL, New Delhi concluded at ICAR National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad today. The NABL team under the leadership of its Chief Executive Officer organised a 5-day training programme from 19-23 December 2022 at NAARM, which is the first in a series of 5 such programmes.
