The three-day National Workshop on “Shiitake Mushroom: As Nutraceutical and Next Generation Functional Food” and “Mushroompreneurs Meet” organized by the ICAR-Research Complex for North-Eastern Hill Region, Manipur Centre from 22^nd to 24^th February, 2022 concluded today. The Workshop was organized in collaboration with the Society for Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology (SPBB), New Delhi.

Uttarakhand

The ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar and its Regional Station, Mukteshwar organized 5 Training Programmes for “The Promotion of Walnut in Uttarakhand”. The Programmes were organized in association with the Uttarakhand Forest Resource Management Project - Japan International Cooperation Agency, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

The 21-day Winter School Training Programme on “Underexploited Vegetables: Unexplored Treasure Trove for Food, Nutritional and Economic Security” organized by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh from 2^nd to 22^nd February, 2022 concluded today.

The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Kolkata Centre organized the Skill Development Training Programme on “Aquaculture Technologies as Livelihood Options” from 18^th to 19^th February, 2022. The programme was organized under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan Programme for 100 Fish Farmers at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, WBCADC, Sonamukhi, Bankura, West Bengal.
