Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & DG (ICAR) inaugurated the “ICAR-NAARM as a Think Tank of ICAR: Scoping Workshop” organized by the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad today. The main aim of the workshop was to delineate the roadmap for transitioning the Academy to the credible Think Tank of the ICAR.

The Short-Term Training Programme on "Feed and Fertility Management in Livestock” organized at the ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru concluded today. The programme was organized from 9^th to 18^th August, 2019.

16^th August, 2019, Ludhiana

The 21-day International Training Programme on “Agricultural Extension Management System in India - Key Lessons for African Continent” organized by the ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Ludhiana from 15^th August to 5^th September, 2019 was inaugurated today. The training programme has been organized under the India-Africa Forum Summit, as per the norms of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation.

13^th August, 2019, Nagpur, Maharashtra

The 12-days Short Term International Training Programme on “Tools & Techniques of Soil Resource Survey for Land Use Planning” organized by the ICAR-National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning (NBSS&LUP), Nagpur concluded today. The programme sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India was organized from 2^nd to 13^th August, 2019.

ICAR-Directorate of Knowledge Management in Agriculture, Informatics Publishing Ltd. (J-Gate) and Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology jointly organized a one-day training-cum-awareness workshop for Librarians and Nodal Officers of CeRA of ICAR Institutes and SAUs of the Eastern region at OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

The 15-day Training Programme on “Organic Farming” organized for the Krishi Sakhis of Sikkim Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM), Rural Management and Development Department (RMDD), Government of Sikkim at the ICAR-National Organic Farming Research Institute (ICAR-NOFRI), Tadong concluded today. The programme was started on 22^nd July, 2019.
