Workshop on Management of Fall Army Worm in Maize Crop

The Divisional Agriculture Office, ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research, Ludhiana and ICAR-All India Coordinated Research Project on Maize, Kolhapur jointly organized a one-day Workshop on “American Military Fall Army Worm Management in Maize Crop” at Kolhapur today.
The programme was organized for Agriculture Officers and Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officers of Kolhapur Division including the Kolhapur, Sangli and Satara Districts.
Capacity Building of Tribal Women Self Help Groups of Mayurbhanj, Odisha on Inland Fisheries Management

The ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore organized a five-day Capacity Building-cum-Sensitization Programme on “Inland Fisheries Management” at its campus from 28th June to 2nd July, 2019.
The main objective of the programme organized for the Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Mayurbhanj District, Odisha was to up-scale the rural tribal women’s knowledge, skill and attitude towards the inland fisheries management to improve their livelihood.
Training on “Sustainable Livelihood Development through Brackishwater Aquaculture and Allied Technologies for the Tribal Farmers of Gujarat State”

The Navsari Gujarat Research Centre of ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai conducted a three-day Training Programme on “Brackishwater Aquaculture and Allied Technologies for Alternative Livelihoods for Tribal Farmers” at Matwad village, Navsari District, Gujarat from 26th to 28th June, 2019. The programme was organized as a part of the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) Programme.
Workshop on Introduction of New Sheep Breeds in SKUAST, Kashmir

The ICAR-Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar, Rajasthan in collaboration with the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir organized a Meeting-cum-Workshop on “Prospects and Possibilities of Introduction of new Sheep Breeds of ICAR-North Temperate Regional Station of Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Garsa, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh in Kashmir Region”.

प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन सार्क कृषि केंद्र (SAC), ढाका और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय जल प्रबंधन संस्थान (IWMI-India), भारत के सहयोग से किया गया था।

राष्ट्रीय कृषि विस्तार प्रबंधन संस्थान (मैनेज), हैदराबाद द्वारा प्रायोजित कार्यक्रम 17 से 21 जून, 2019 तक आयोजित किया गया था।

The training programme was organized in collaboration with the SAARC Agriculture Centre (SAC), Dhaka and International Water Management Institute, India (IWMI-India).
