Evolve New Agricultural Technologies and Transfer to Farmers, says Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare

“Indian agriculture is facing newer challenges from vagaries in climatic conditions leading to availability of excess water for cultivation in some regions and lack of water leading to drought in others,” said Shri Sudarshan Bhagat, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare at the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management today. He also called upon the agricultural researchers to evolve new technologies to tackle these challenges and to transfer the technologies to the farmers so that they are benefitted. Shri Bhagat distributed certificates to the participants of the ICAR-NAARM Management Development Programme on ‘Leadership Development (Pre-RMP)’ and ‘Competence Enhancement Programme on Soft Skills and Personality Development for Technical Staff of ICAR’.
