ICAR-CIBA inks MoU with Indian Potash Limited for Aquafeed manufacturing

The ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indian Potash Limited, Chennai for the technical support on Aquafeed Formulation and manufacturing today.

Dr. T. Ravisankar, Director, CIBA, Chennai highlighted the significance of the Brackishwater Aquaculture, Shrimp Export and its share to the national revenue earnings in comparison with the other agricultural exports. The importance of feed in presenting the Aquaculture as an economically viable food-producing sector was also highlighted by Dr. Ravishankar.

Dr. P.S. Gahlaut, Managing Director, IPL underlined the Organization’s contributions and significance in the countries' sustainability in agriculture and growth.
