West Garo Hills, Meghalaya

The ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya organized the three “Animal Vaccination-cum-Health Camps” under the Tribal Sub Plan Project - 2021-22. The Camps were organized in the three different Villages - Meboldarechikgre, Aminda Simsang and Nengja Bolchugre under Gambegre Block of West Garo Hills District, Meghalaya on 5th March, 15th March and 19th March, 2022, respectively.

The Essential Medicines for the livestock & poultry along with mineral mixtures and vitamins were distributed to the benefiting 152 Farmers and Farm Women under the TSP Project during the programmes.

A total of 82 Pigs were Vaccinated against the Swine Fever and 212 Cattle Vaccinated against the HS & BQ in the camps.
