A one day awareness-cum-skill training programme on “Value added fish products” was organized by ICAR- Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha today in collaboration with KVK-Khordha, Odisha at Kamaguru, Tangi Block, Odisha for the tribal women beneficiaries of Khordha district under the TSP/STC programme of the Institute.

11^th March, 2023, Kolasib

The ICAR Research Complex for North eastern Hill Region, Mizoram Centre, Kolasib, had organized three days Farmers’ training on “Improved cultivation techniques of Spices and its post-harvest management” at ICAR, Kolasib .

The Head of Regional Centre, Dr. S. Doley, ICAR Mizoram Centre, delivered a brief inaugural address highlighting the importance of spices in Mizoram, scientific cultivation and processing as key aspects for higher income and economic stability.

March 15, 2023, Ludhiana

 ICAR–Central Institute of Post–Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana along with ICAR-ATARI Ludhiana in collaboration with KVK Ludhiana (Samrala) organized a three-days training program on “Value Addition of Cereals and Millets for Nutritional Security” . under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan scheme of Government of India.

A one-day training program was jointly organized by ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur and ICAR-ATARI, Jabalpur today at Sausar tehsil, Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh.

The Capacity Development Programme for FPOs of Karnataka under Common Service Centre was inaugurated by Dr. Udham Singh Gautam, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension) at ICAR-KVK Kodagu today.

2nd March 2023, Hyderabad

The two-day National Workshop on “Role of ethno-veterinary medicine in organic livestock production” was inaugurated at ICAR – National Meat Research Institute, Hyderabad today.

 The Chief Guest, Dr V. Ravinder Reddy, Vice Chancellor, P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, Hyderabad emphasised on increase in global demand for natural and organic foods. He also stated that there was great demand and scope for organic livestock production and need to encash the opportunity.   

21st February 2023, Gadchiroli

ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur organized training on “Citrus Production technology” and Agri-input and Acid lime sapling distribution programme in collaboration with KVK, Gadchiroli and local Police Department for the tribal and Schedule Cast farmers in the Naxalite-infested tehsil of Bhamragad, Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra under TSP and SCSP Scheme today.

A 21-day “Online Entrepreneurship Orientation Program in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants-VI (EOPMAP-VI)” organized by ICAR-Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Research (DMAPR), Anand, Gujarat with its Medi-Hub Technology Business Incubator (Medi-Hub TBI) from 1st to 21st February, 2023.

Medi-Hub TBI is an agribusiness incubator established under National Agricultural Innovation Fund (NAIF), ICAR. The main objective of the EOPMAP is to accelerate start-up business in Medicinal and Aromatic plants (MAP).
