Hands-on-training programme on " Advanced techniques in Animal Food Safety "

22nd – 28th September 2022, Mumbai

ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad organized a One-week certificate training Program on “Advanced techniques in animal food safety” during 22-28 September, 2022 under the World Bank Funded NAHEP-CAAST project entitled "Centre of Excellence for Advanced Research on Animal Food Safety" implemented at Mumbai Veterinary College, Mumbai. 

ICAR-NRCB organised High – End Workshop for Research Scholars

The ICAR- National Research Centre for Banana, Tiruchirappalli organized ten-day High-End Workshop (Karyashala) on “Recent advances in Banana improvement, production, protection, PHT, extension, and business arena for nutritional security in the era of Atmanirbhar Bharat” during 17-26 September 2022. The programme was funded by DST- Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi. The workshop was specifically designed for Post-Graduate and Ph. D students to expose them to contemporary technological advancements.

Training program on “Advanced biotechnological approaches to augment productivity in poultry for ensuring food and nutritional security”

International Livestock Research Institute and ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research, Hyderabad collaborative five-day training program on “Advanced biotechnological approaches to augment productivity in poultry for ensuring food and nutritional security” was inaugurated at ICAR-DPR today.

                

Skill development training on recent advances in seed production and farming of brackishwater finfishes to the stakeholders

ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai conducted two hands-on training programme on ‘Seed production and farming of brackishwater finfishes’ during 5th to 9th September, 2022 at its headquarters Chennai and during 1-7th September, 2022 at its Kakdwip Research Centre in West Bengal respectively. Twenty participants consisted of fish farmers, start-up entrepreneurs, State Fisheries Department Officials and aquaculture consultants attended the training.
