20th September 2022, Hyderabad

International Livestock Research Institute and ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research, Hyderabad collaborative five-day training program on “Advanced biotechnological approaches to augment productivity in poultry for ensuring food and nutritional security” was inaugurated at ICAR-DPR today.

Three training programs on Micro-irrigation was organized for identified officials from 75 districts of the state Department of Horticulture & Food Processing at the ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal.

7-9th September, 2022

ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Guwahati, Zone VI organized “3-day training programme on Natural farming” from 7-9th September, 2022 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kamrup, Assam for the officials Krishi Vigyan Kendras under Zone VI.

ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai conducted two hands-on training programme on ‘Seed production and farming of brackishwater finfishes’ during 5th to 9th September, 2022 at its headquarters Chennai and during 1-7th September, 2022 at its Kakdwip Research Centre in West Bengal respectively. Twenty participants consisted of fish farmers, start-up entrepreneurs, State Fisheries Department Officials and aquaculture consultants attended the training.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ranga Reddy District, of ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad organized an awareness programme on “Efficient and balanced use of fertilizers including nano fertilizers” as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahostav at Panchayath Office, Mangalpally Village, Amangal Mandal today.

ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research, Indore in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kasturbagram, Indore organized an online webinar to spread the awareness on “Rights and Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers act 2001" among the farming community. Farmers from all over the country participated in this programme and benefited from it.

Three-day Training Workshop for Vigilance Officers of ICAR Institutes was organized by ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad from August 24-26, 2022 for 20 Vigilance Officers of various institutes of ICAR.

ICAR–Central Institute of Post–Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana organized three-day training program under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan scheme of Government of India on Post-harvest processing and value addition of food grains including millets and pulses (29 -  31st August, 2022) concluded here today.
