The ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, Maharashtra organized a Brainstorming Workshop on “Citrus Fruit Drop” today. 

In his address, the Chief Guest, Shri Sunil Kedar, Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Maharashtra stressed on the severity of pre-harvest fruit drop in Nagpur Mandarin and suggested developing an integrated strategy to deal with the problem.

The ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, Kolkata organized a five-day Virtual Refresher Course on “Mechanical Processing of Natural Fibres” from 21^st to 25^th September, 2021.

In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Dr. G. Nalankilli, Director, Uttar Pradesh Textile Institute, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh stressed on the maximum use of products made from natural fibres as compared to products from synthetic fibres.
