The ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) and ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (IISWC) jointly organized a 7-day Training Programme on “Motivation, Positive Thinking and Communication Skills” for the Technical Officers of ICAR Institutes (T-5 and above) at the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (IISWC), Dehradun from 13^th to 19^th March, 2019.

With a view to popularize the importance of soil test based  balanced fertilizer application with STCR approach among the farmers, a skill development programme was organized under the aegis of ICAR sponsored AICRP-STCR at Pedda golkonda village  of Rangareddy  district, Telangana state.

To focus on the major issue of climate change and its impact of production and productivity of vegetable crops, a three-day National Conference on “Food and Nutritional Security through Vegetable Crops in Relation to Climate Change” was organized at ICAR- Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi.

ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal organized a Brain Storming Session on Recent Advances in Biomass Energy Research and Management”  on 09 November 2017. The main objective of this Brain Storming Session was to identify researchable areas and technological  interventions required for efficient utilization of crop residues for generation and utilization of biomass energy and thereby address the challenge of food, energy and environment security.

A 5-day hands on training programme on “Manufacture of jute Handicrafts” commenced on 14^th November, 2017 at KVK, Jajpur, Odisha. The training programme is sponsored under ABI- ICAR-National Institute of Research on Jute & Allied Fibre Technology, Kolkata project.
