The XXX workshop of All India Coordinated Research Project on Farm Implements and Machinery was held at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore during Feb 4-6, 2015.

Bernia a tribal dominated village in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan has the farmers with more than 90 per cent illiteracy, very small land holdings and live below poverty line. ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur under TSP project has taken up many developmental activities including distribution of solar lanterns, saplings of mango, pomegranate, lemon etc.,  improved seeds,  seed bins, construction of tanka, channels, sodic soil reclamation, distribution of bucks and ram for breed improvement.

ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore organized a 4-day training programme for the farmers of Mayurbhanj District, Odisha during 23-26 December 2016.

ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur organized a 3-day training on ‘Agri-based small scale entrepreneurship development for livelihood security of farmers in arid region’ (December 7–9, 2016) at village Utamber in Balesar tehsil to create awareness among the farmers about various agri-based interventions suitable for entrepreneurial adoption for income generation activities.

A two day National Seminar on "Soil Health Assessment with Mridaparikshak" was held at ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal during 04-05 November, 2016.  

ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore conducted a “Training-cum- Mass-Awareness programme for Utilization of derelict open water to rear and produce indigenous fish for socio economic development of Tribal community” at Sagar Island during 16-18 September 2016.

ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin organized a 3- day hands on training programme on “Fish Processing & Value addition” for fish co-operative societies from KVK, Washim, Maharashtra during 3-5th Aug 2015. The objective of the traning programme was to  to impart skill based training to the members of cooperatives on various aspects of fish processing technologies related to production of value added quality fish products from freshwater resources and their preservation.
