भाकृअनुप-केन्द्रीय भेड़ एवं ऊन अनुसन्धान संस्थान, अविकानगर के रीजनल स्टेशन मरू क्षेत्रीय परिसर, बिचवाल, बीकानेर द्वारा "वैज्ञानिक भेड़पालन तकनिकीयों द्वारा किसानों की आजीविका में सुधार" के लिए तीन दिवसीय (29 जनवरी से 31 जनवरी तक) प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से हुनुमानगढ़ जिले के पल्लू के 50 अनुसूचित जाति के बीपीएल किसानों (8 महिला एवं 42 पुरुष ) को संबोधित किया गया।

The ICAR-National Meat Research Institute, Hyderabad, and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi jointly organised a 5-day Hands-On Training on the Determination of Residues and Contaminants in Meat as per FSSR, 2011 specialized regarding Detection of Antibiotics, Pesticides, and Heavy Metals at ICAR-NMRI, Hyderabad from 29th January – 2nd February 2024.

A 3-Day State-Level Training on Good Storage Practices Concludes

ICAR- Central Institute of Post–Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, organised a 3-day state-level training program from 29th-3st January 2024, on Good Storage Practices jointly with Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce (Trading & Development) Co-operative Federation Limited, Raipur. The training aimed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge related to the storage and handling of minor forest produce.

ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana, organises Training for Rural Women

ICAR–Central Institute of Post–Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, organized a 3-day training programme on “Processing and Value Addition of Cereals” from 29th-31st January 2024, under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan scheme. The programme aimed to strengthen Scheduled Caste poor families and nurture them to initiate activities in the field of cereals processing with special emphasis on value addition.

ICAR-CIFT Kochi conducts training on Seafood Decomposition partnering USFDA and JIFSAN, USA

ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, in collaboration with the Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, USA and the Food and Drug Administration, USA is conducting two consecutive training programs on "Seafood Decomposition" in two batches at the CIFT campus from January 29th - 30th and February 1st- 2nd, 2024 for elevating the quality of seafood exports from India to the required USFDA standards.

ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Pune organised 32nd Annual General Meeting of AICRP on Floriculture from 23rd-25th January 2024, at the Horticulture Research Station under Assam Agriculture University, Kahikuchi.

The chief guest, Dr. B. C. Deka, Vice-Chancellor, AAU, said that technology commercialization is the need of the hour and innovative ideas must be linked to the market. He urged the scientists to focus more on the commercialization of the developing technologies.
