10^th January - 2019, Bhubaneswar

The ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Kausalyaganga, Bhubaneswar organized a Seminar in Hindi on “Role of Rajbhasha Hindi in the Science Communication” at its campus today.

The seminar was organized jointly by Education and Scientific Institutions situated in Bhubaneswar namely CSIR-Institute of Mineral and Materials Technology, Institute of Life science, Institute of Physics, National Institute of Science Education and Research, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, ICAR-CIFA and ICAR-CIWA.

The ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore, Kolkata organized an interactive workshop on “Management of Open-water Fisheries” at Agartala, Tripura from 4^th to 5^th January - 2019. The workshop was organized in collaboration with Directorate of Fisheries, Department of Fisheries, Government of Tripura.

The ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute organized a two-day mass awareness camps at Amtoli and Kochukahali, Gosaba block of Sunderban, West Bengal from 5^th to 6^th January - 2019.

भाकृअनुप-शीतजल मात्स्यिकी अनुसंधान निदेशालय, भीमताल, उत्तराखंड द्वारा आयोजित दो दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण-सह-उन्मुखीकरण कार्यशाला “पूर्वी हिमालयी क्षेत्र में ट्राउट मत्स्य पालन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए फीड निर्माण, तैयारी और प्रदर्शन” का आज सफलतापूर्वक समापन हुआ।

कार्यशाला का आयोजन 29 से 30 दिसंबर, 2018 तक दिरांग में भाकृअनुप-राष्ट्रीय याक अनुसंधान केंद्र, दिरांग, अरुणाचल प्रदेश और मत्स्य विभाग, अरुणाचल प्रदेश सरकार, के सहयोग से किया गया था।

The two-day Training-cum-Orientation Workshop on “Feed formulation, preparation and demonstration for promoting trout fisheries in Eastern Himalayan Region” organized by ICAR-Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research, Bhimtal, Uttarakhand concluded on a successful note today.

28^th November, 2018, Kochi

With an aim to gather inputs from various stakeholders in marine fisheries sector over the recently formulated draft National Mariculture Policy, the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) organised six workshops across the coastal states of the country. During this, five stakeholder meets were organised in Veraval, Visakhapatnam, Karwar, Mandapam and Chennai Regional Research Centres of the ICAR-CMFRI, followed by the final meet at the CMFRI Headquarters in Kochi.

The 6^th Management Development Programme (MDP) on Priority setting, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) of agricultural research projects for the In-charges of PME Cell of ICAR institutions organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research and Management (NAARM), Hyderabad concluded on a successful note today. The first phase of the MDP was organized from 17^th to 22^nd December - 2018.

22^nd December, 2018, Srinagar

The 8 day-long National Level Model Training Course (MTC) on “Technological interventions in temperate horticulture for doubling farmer’s income” organized by ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar concluded here today. The training programme sponsored by Directorate of Extension Education, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi was held at the Institute’s campus, Srinagar from 15^th to 22^nd December - 2018.
