Six-day training program on Watershed Management and Ravine Reclamation organized by ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun and sponsored by the Uttar Pradesh Bhoomi Sudhar Nigam, Lucknow concluded on 16th December, 2017.

ICAR-Directorate of Knowledge Management in Agriculture, Informatics publishing Ltd. (J-Gate) and ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) jointly organized a one-day training-cum awareness workshop for Librarians and Nodal Officers of CeRA of ICAR Institutes and SAUs of the southern region at CMFRI, Kochi.

A Model Training Course (MTC) on “Women Friendly Technologies for Agriculture Production and Processing Operations” was inaugurated at ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal on December 15, 2017.  The Course is sponsored by Department of Agriculture and Co-operation & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.

ICAR-Sponsored 10-day Short Course on “Recent advances in processing technologies for Value addition of jute and allied fibers” was inaugurated in ICAR-National Institute of Research on Jute and Allied Fibre Technology, Kolkata on 11th December 2017.

ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organised an ICAR sponsored 21-day winter school programme on “Advanced Analytics in Developing Market Intelligence” from 14^th November to 04^th December 2017.

ICAR-Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur in collaboration with the Indian Society of Pulses Research and Development organized a National Symposium on “Pulses for nutritional security and agricultural sustainability to commemorate the Golden Jubilee Year of Pulses Research in India at IIPR, Kanpur during December 2-4, 2017.

A two-day Training on Production Technology of Rabi Oilseeds (7-8th December, 2017) for Nodal Officers of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi under National Mission on Oilseed and Oil palm (NMOOP) has been inaugurated at ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Jodhpur today.
